Fraser started his London property career in the early 1980s based in West Hampstead surveying & managing houses & flats across North & West London including Hampstead, Highgate, St. John’s Wood, Bayswater, Marylebone, Kensington & Earls Court.
In 1985 he transferred into the commercial sector joining Healey & Baker (now Cushman & Wakefield), qualifying in 1986. He next joined Barnard Marcus, establishing and managing their Mayfair Professional Office.
Following the market crash of the early 1990s Fraser spent most of the following decade as a Senior Valuer in the Valuation Office Agency as an expert in Taxation and other Statutory Valuations of commercial and residential property, especially valuations for Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT).
After leaving the VOA Fraser moved back into the Private Practice as an Associate Director at Stiles Harold Williams (SHW) specialising in Commercial Valuations before joining Ashdown Lyons.
In 2009 he set up a highly successful Chartered Surveying practice as a founding Partner and continued to carry out valuations for Inheritance & Capital Gains Tax (including rebasing valuations at 1982), Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT), Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings (ATED) and historic valuations including 1982 for Rebasing across most asset classes. His clients are Chartered Accountants, Wealth Managers, Tax Advisors and Legal Practitioners across Prime Central, South and West London and the Home Counties.
Fraser is a co-founder of RCSV, a new practice of Chartered Surveyors & Registered Valuers carrying out Residential & Commercial Surveys & Valuations.
